A good Chinese translucent jadeite dish , Qing Dynasty, circa 1760-1830, the semi-transparent jade flecked with spinach green inclusions, standing on slightly raised foot, with Radcliffe collection label 'C16', 15.8cm diameter Compare with a bowl in the Metropolitan Museum of Art form the Heber R. Bishop collection, New York, donated to the MMA in 1902, and a pair of bowls in the Cleveland Museum, with the Qianlong reign marks, from the bequest of Cornelia Blakemore Warner, 1947, ref. 537 Provenance: The Bluetts archive records this jadeite dish as shipped by Captain W.F. Collins from Peking to London, as consignment 63.1, and noted in a contemporary letter that the shipment had reached Bluetts by September 1934.
