2022年3月在北美館舉行的「掘光而行：洪瑞麟」大展，洪瑞麟一直素有「礦工畫家」的美譽，其作品一直是臺灣美術史上描繪勞動者生活面貌的代表象徵。由於受到日本當時「普羅藝術」思潮影響，他的創作內容可歸為社會寫實主義。洪瑞麟除了礦工與風景畫，靜物作品亦是十分精采，百合置於深色瓶內，花束悠然舒展，與綠葉交錯層疊，觀來嬌艷動人，與背景相互對比強烈，描繪十分細膩，整作構圖工整經典。
