Description: This sennin is named after his iron cane. Tekkai was able to leave his body and on one occasion his body was buried as he was believed to have died. As tekkai returned he had no choice but to enter the corpse of a beggar, as depicted by this netsuke. The fully bearded beggar is still lying on the ground, leaning on a rock and holding his cane.
