Description: Covering the face from the nose down to the chin, with horsehair moustache and detachable nose-piece. The interior lacquered red, the outside black with a simple three lame yodare-kake (throat guard) of brown-lacquered leather and laced in black and beige. The chin with an Asenagashi-no-ana, a drain hole for perspiration and the ears pierced.
