Censor’s seal: Kiwame Ichikawa Kuzô II, who performed under the stage name Kuzô from 1835 to 1852, was predestined for both male as well as female roles. In 1838, he played the role of Onna Daimyô (女大名) in the kabuki play Hanabutai Kasumi no Saruhiki (=Utsubo Zaru) in the Nakamura Theater in Edo. Framed.
