Geschweifter, rechteckiger Korpus mit wenig vorstehendem, randgefasstem Blatt auf wellig ausgeschnittener Zarge mit geschweiften durch Zwischentablar verbundenen Beinen. Vergoldete Bronzebeschläge und -sabots. Zum Freistellen. Fehlstellen. 33x25x71 cm. Provenienz: - Auktion Sotheby's London, 16.6.1989 (Katalognr. 39). - Privatsammlung, Schweiz. Das "modello" des hier angebotenen Guéridons gehört zu den mehrfach ausgeführten Kleinmöbeln des B. van Risenburgh. Zwei analoge Guéridons waren Bestand der Sammlung Patino und wurden am 1.11.1986 (Katalognr. 107 und 108) bei Sotheby's New York verkauft. Zwei weitere waren Bestand der Sammlungen A. Riahi und wurden bei Christie's New York am 2.12.2000 (Katalognr. 13 und 14) verkauft. Ein analoges Kleinmöbel ist Bestand der Wrightsman Collection in den USA. Weitere, nahezu identische Guéridons wurden 1961 im Palais Galliéra (Katalognr. 99 und 100) verkauft. Im 1756 gemalten Portrait der Marquise de Pompadour von F.
