Mesmerizing Jun ware bowl of with deep rounded sides rising to form a convex dish. The upper rim of this bowl has been constructed into a flower pedal design. The exterior tone ranges from a turquoise blue to olive-green hues around rim, with a purple splashed accent on interior. The glaze on the exterior stops unevenly at foot to expose the unglazed brown stoneware. The underside left unglazed, with grayish-brown ground and darker spot marks in the firing.
