Description
Translation provided by Youdao
Deep ox-blood QianLong Chinese porcelain bowl, with red glaze characterized by a blushing effect. Deep curvature flaring upward to form the rim, with a slightly raised footing. Defined by the deep red glaze which is sourced from copper as the oxygen is depleted during the firing stage. Amazing monochrome porcelain with even coated glaze throughout which creates a mottled effect around the rim that is likened unto the blushing of human skin. The interior and concaved central base contain white underglaze. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous craftsman. Mark on base, a six blue underglaze seal script -ZhuanShu- characters reign mark, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
