Qing Dynasty Chinese porcelain bowl, with crane motif. Sturdy porcelain jar with robust shoulder region curving into a feminine waist that extends all the way to the bottom forming the raised circular base. The exterior masterfully covered in an even coat of a delicate white underglaze. Several Cranes Line the upper shoulder region soaring amidst cumulus cloud form. A band of wild horses gallop around the bottom rim. Cranes are known to resemble both longevity and wisdom. The immaculate porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze. The glaze terminates above the foot, revealed the pale-creme unglazed ground, with the central circle base left white under glaze. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous craftsman. Mark on base, a six blue underglaze seal script -ZhuanShu- characters reign mark, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
