Chinese Qianlong sgraffito famille jaune brush pot porcelain in a compressed bulbous form. The exterior shading delicately decorated with carving of five-claws vigorous dragon amidst sparse flames with ruyi pattern on the rim. All served in egg-yolk underglaze. The clay is fine and exquisite, the glaze smooth, brilliant with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous. Mark on base, a six underglazed blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters mark, Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty. Dimensions: 2-3/8" H x 3-7/8" Diam.
