Finest Chinese Qing Dynasty gilt bronze cloisonne GU vase, having a heavy cast in baluster shape body, trumpet neck further over flared rim, the bulbous center body cornered to shoulder, and flowing down to splayed prominent foot base. The trumpet neck has four large lappets rising towards the flared rim flow down toward the foot base. Two straight gilt line banded across the collar and upper foot with archaic pattern. The spreading foot is encircled by further scroll bands and decorated with interlocking repeated ceremonial masks. The composition is sophisticated and the colors are a feast for the eye. Mark on base, a protruding four script -KaiShu- characters enclosed within square border, Made in The Years of QianLong Reign Period. Dimensions: 5-3/4" H x 4-7/8" Diam.
