Enthralling Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Reward Vase. A celestial shaped vase, globular body, long tapered neck forming an ovoid opening, with a concave footed base. The outer surface of this vase is covered in lotus blooms shooting forth between scrolling leafy tendrils. The shoulder is patterned in thrashing Li-shui wave forms and ribbons pattern. A geometrical pattern banded on the rim and foot. The color is balanced, elegant and exquisite. Along with the lotus flower symbolizing truth, fertility, and purity. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous craftsman. Mark on base, a six underglazed blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters mark, QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty. Dimensions: 22-1/8" H x 14-1/2" Diam.
