此对花盆形状四方，敞口，斜直壁。全器雕成紧密排列的竹节纹，通体分别满施红、绿釉，釉色娇嫩，十分别致。花盆底书“大清乾隆年制”矾红篆书款。花盆亦底座雕刻成竹节形状，辅以竹叶形装饰，更见玲珑生动，生趣盎然。竹笔直入凌霄的形态自古与人品格之正直相关联，文人雅士多有诗赋赞竹，以此造型，甚为雅观。
