Very fine Carved Chinese Jade Recumbent Boulder Mountain laying on raised solid-wood stand. The Nephrite jade boulder is elaborately carved with five sages traversing a mountainous scene. The carving is superb in detail, capturing the essence of the ardent journey. Jadestone has a lustrous tone, with pale-celadon iridescent and attractive sporadic golden russet inclusions. The jade gives an appearance of being wet with a milk-like hue. Gorgeously presented on a carved hardwood stand. The jade is extremely well carved giving it an aura of splendor.
