Unique Chinese jade censer, in a square construction, gently tapered toward the foot, emerging the steep straight wall leading to square banded opening. S-shaped member mirrored on both sides create the handles, connecting to the vessel at the shoulder and hip regions. Decorated with archaic geometrical pattern simulating the Taotie mask of the seeing eyes. The stone is of a white or pale celadon color with a moist oily appearance.
