西藏铜鎏金宝生佛为佛教五方佛中的南方如来，代表在佛法圆满中，获得无量福德、珍宝，故曰“宝生”。此像头戴华丽的宝冠，顶结金刚杵，面貌清秀，神态祥和平静，体态端庄，结全跏趺坐于仰覆莲座上。左手结禅定印，右手结与愿印，为宝生佛典型法印。宝生佛着菩萨装，戴菩萨宝严，包括宝冠、耳珰、项链、臂钏等，配饰均镶嵌绿松石，精美庄严，明显反映出尼泊尔艺术风格的影响。造像通体鎏金，金水光灿，铸造精良，实为15世纪西藏地区造像的佳作。
