玉呈琮形，內圓外方，帶有天圓地方之意，局部受沁呈白色。玉琮為玉器六瑞之一，是中國古代重要的玉禮器，常用於祭祀。新石器中晚期，在江浙一帶的良渚文化、廣東石峽文化、山西陶寺文化等出現，出土與傳世的數量頗豐。本件作品紋飾簡約，以兩道凹槽為飾，四角圓潤，孔內可見磨製痕跡，玉質極佳，透光，整體溫潤油亮，細緻典雅。
