It was the first commercial computer (1984) with graphical user interface (GUI), it was the forerunner of an era that is still going on, introducing on the market the philosophy of the desk metaphor with icons, windows, mouse, basket, menus, fonts (fonts) and an extraordinary ease of use. LISA was an acronym for 'Local Integrated Software Architecture', but in fact the name comes from Steve Jobs' daughter, Chrisann Brennan, who was never recognized for many years. It is considered the 'mother' machine of the Macintosh (1984), which was the first computer with GUI to be widely used and still on the market today. - . This lot is particularly important as it is serial number B08B831950242; it comes from the private collection of the founders of the Apple Museum in Savona. The Lisa in question was purchased at the end of the 90s from a nurseryman in Imperia, who had used it to manage the accounts of his greenhouses, and kept it abandoned and forgotten. Bringing it back to life, it was the seed of the idea of the Apple Museum, in fact when in 2002 a warehouse of Apple products destined for destruction was found, the founders decided to recover them and give life to the first interactive museum of personal computer science, of which this particular 'Lisa' object of the auction was the progenitor, the No. 1 object of the entire collection.
