The folder marked “Helen Morgan” as well as “1st Trumpet” contains approximately 22 MS pages, heavily emended, for the following songs: Can’t Help Lovin’ Dat Man Don’t Worry About Me Each Time You Say Good Bye Maybe Plus a few printed songs: "If It Rains-Who Cares!", "Why Do I Love You", and "My Sister And I". The lot also includes the printed sheet music for the song “Bill”, New York, 1927, plus two modern reproductions of same, and a program from the Erlanger Theatre in Philadelphia, dated December, 19, 1927. Show Boat would begin its 572-performance run on Broadway just eight days later on December 27th.
