Laid in is a carbon copy of a typed letter to Hammerstein from George Enzinger, dated December 29, 1949; photocopy of a two-page T.L.s to Hammerstein from Enzinger, dated September 21, 1937, related to Hammerstein’s then project, the making of the film, The Story of Vernon and Irene Castle (1939); photocopy of a T.L.s to Hammerstein from Saul Bornstein’s secretary referencing two songs mentioned in the previous letter. Original illustrated stiff wrappers, text disbound, Chappel & Co. Ltd. rubber stamp on title page. Enclosed in [presumably] Enzinger’s tooled leather folding book cover. Includes Wodehouse's song, "Bill".
