｜Myanmar/Burma. 19th c.｜Plaited bamboo, lacquerd vermilion, two lotus borders in thayo lacquer relief. The bulbous bowl stands on six feet and the cover has a foot ring on top, so it can also be used as a tray. The bowl has a beautiful patina with the black rubbed somewhat through the red overcoat.
