Potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick and bulbous body, with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward straight mouth rim, raised on a small round with slight concave. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white under glazed base color which contrast against the iron red fine color, depicted of many fu dogs playing with flaming ball surrounded by flame and vapor, bordered with dense of floral diaper surrounding Bajixiang symbol on the upper mouth rim. The mythic dog is sometimes associated with feng shui, and are often called Fu Dogs. Fu means happiness in Chinese; however, the term Fu Dog and its variant Foo Dog, are not used in Chinese. Instead, they are known as Ruyi Shi (auspicious lions) or simply Shi (lions).
