A George III sterling silver teapot on stand, the teapot London 1802 by Richard Cooke Of oval form upon a collet foot, the fluted tubular spout opposite a wooden C scroll handle pinned to tubular sockets. The hinged domed lid surmounted by a detachable wooden fluted knop finial. The body with embossed half-fluting, the upper section with moulding leading to a gadrooned rim. Engraved to the side with a contemporaneous crest of a falcon with wings addorsed. The stand, London 1803 by W? probably William Stroud, of oval form with cavetto edge and gadrooned rim, inset with a mahogany base. Engraved with the same crest.
