While working with Doctors from different cultures Jim became an avid collector of Chinese items, His widow has placed his treasured articles to be sold at auction. Jade medallion detailed with centralized Longevity Shou characters surrounded by rococo floral motif in reliefs carvings in relief. Silver framed in Bajixiang Eight Buddhist emblems motif, with arrays of Rose Quartz and Turquoise stones inlaid. The alternate verso side with reflective silver mirror. Jade varved handle curving upward and hooking onto the mirror, carved in Pixiu motif.
