Dimensions: Height: 32.5cm, Diam: 23cm Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Qianlong Douqing plum bottle. The porcelain shaped into a traditional Meiping form, large, thick and tall, wide body on shoulder, round opening lip with emerging flaring ring mouth rim, raised on round foot base, with slight concave. The body of the bottle is entirely covered in simple and pure Douqing glaze. All reserved in an even coat of a pale green glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white under glaze. The deep green glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, Made In The Years Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
