TWO SOAPSTONE FIGURES OF ZHONGLI QUAN 17th/18th century Each finely carved standing wearing a long robe tied at the waist, decorated with incised clouds and floral motifs embellished with pigment and gilt, one hand holding a fan with tassel attached to the end and the other pendent by the side within the long sleeve, the smiling face with a full beard beneath the finely-incised hair pulled up into two buns at the top, one with stand. The larger 21.3cm (8 3/8in) high. (3).
