A Famille Verte Style Dish Of circular form, decorated in famille verte enamels, painted to the centre with a design of a blue-robed dignitary seated before two warriors and a figure offering a gift, an attendant holding a fan stands alongside, a further figure in green robes and a lady look in on the scene from either side, the wide flattened rim with four quatrefoil cartouches, each containing a finely drawn phoenix, set against a dense green honeycomb ground, the glazed base with double channeled footrim and an artemisia leaf within a circle in underglaze blue.
