An Unusual Chinese Blue and White Pot and Cover Of ovoid form, the tall sides rising from a flat base to a wide shoulder, with short neck, straight spout and C-shape handle, decorated in shades of underglaze blue, a large heart motif to either side with scrolling tendrils reserved in white against a blue ground, set between stylised flame-pattern bands to the shoulder and foot, the cover similarly decorated with flame pattern, the base glazed.
