A Pair of Fine Chinese Blue and White ‘Dragon’ Bowls Of ogee form with deep rounded sides rising to an everted rim, painted to the exterior in bright shades of underglaze blue with two scaly five-clawed dragons striding amongst scrolling flames and clouds, one dragon in pursuit of the other whose head is turned backwards, the interior with a central medallion enclosing a further dragon amidst flames, the bases with a blue seal mark of Qianlong and of the period.
