A Large Chinese Blue and White Basin Sturdily potted and of circular form, decorated in shades of underglaze blue, the well decorated with a swastika to the centre encircled by four stylised hibiscus blooms and four buds connected by scrolling tendrils, the cavetto similarly decorated with large hibiscus blooms against a dense ground of floral scroll, the flattened rim with a design of stylised hibiscus in bud and in bloom, connected by scrolling leafy tendrils, the exterior with a pattern of lotus flowers and lotus scroll, the base glazed.
