A Chinese Archaistic Bronze Tripod Vessel (jue) The deep U-shaped body supported on three tall splayed legs with pointed feet, cast around the exterior with two taotie masks with bulging eyes on a leiwan ground, all below a flared rim tapering to a point opposite the channeled spout, the rim further cast with a pair of upright posts with waisted finials flanking the spout, the base with an archaistic mark. Period: 18th/19th century. Height: 21 cm.
