A Fine Chinese Blue and White Ginger Jar Of ovoid form, the rounded sides rising from a wide flat base, finely painted in varying shades of underglaze blue, decorated with a continuous watery landscape scene, two figures on the shoreline and another on a boat, surrounded by rocky mountains and tall trees, a key fret band around the shoulder, the glazed base with a double circle in underglaze blue, together with intricately carved hardwood stand and cover.
