A former Austro-Hungarian sapphire and diamond double fleur-de-lys shaped brooch, with an oval sugar loaf cabochon sapphire rub set to the centre. Lines of graduated old European cut and old Swiss cut diamonds, grain set throughout to a bloomed ground, with a pin and 'C' catch. Austrian marks for 18ct gold, Vienna. Maker's mark unidentified. 29 x 27mm, 9.78g Condition report: Dirty/dusty. Light tarnish. Light surface marks. It has not been possible to test the sapphire, possibly synthetic.
