A late Victorian seed pearl and citrine fringe necklace, with a series of graduated oval mixed cut citrines, strung on gold wire. All evenly spaced to the centrepiece with seed pearl to the back, with a single row lozenge shaped barrel clasp. Tested as approximately 18ct gold. 357mm long. Principal gemstone 14.70 x 11.20mm, 11.03g Condition report: Gemstones bright and lively. Some chips around some drill holes. Two wires broken. Re-stringing required. Gimp slightly dirty/discoloured (gimp is the fine coiled wire tubing that protects the silk at each end, from rubbing on the clasp).
