A cloisonné-enamel moriage tall baluster vase By Kawade Shibataro, Meiji (1868-1912) or Taisho (1912-1926) era, early 20th century Finely worked in silver with brightly coloured enamels with a leafy stem of a large blooming lily and buds growing at the foot of the vase and draping across the front of the body, the lily rendered with white and yellow petals and reddish-brown stamens, the leaves in graduated tones of green, reserved on a graduated pale-grey to pale-green ground, applied with a silver rim and foot, the base signed with the seal of Kawade Shibataro; with a plain wood storage box. 37cm (14½in) high.
