A mid-20th century Iranian (Persian) silver four-piece tea and coffee service, Isfahan circa 1950 Comprising a teapot, a coffee pot, a covered milk jug and a covered twin handled sugar bowl. Each of ovoid form upon a stepped spreading circular foot. The C scroll handles with applied bone insulators, the pull off lids of domed form surmounted by hexagonal rounded finials. The bodies with embossed monabbat-kari decoration of an eight-sided cartouche with cranes below peonies with nightingales and other peonies, all within foliate decoration and arabesque cartouches.
