Angular crossover shank inset with a turquoise sphere (diameter 11 mm). The aeronautical engineer and goldsmith Friedrich Becker (Ende bei Hagen 1922 - Düsseldorf 1997) designed the model for this sphere ring in 1957 and was awarded the Bavarian State Prize in 1959 for a slightly modified version of the same piece.
