此件玉佩采用和阗白玉制成，用材上佳，润白细腻。器呈片状，以圆形为主体，外缘四角各对称凸出一兽面。兽面以阴刻线琢饰眉、眼、耳。圆形主体内整体镂空透雕一条卷草夔龙，卷鼻、枣核形眼，下颚如斧，口微张，长独角后翘。身体腾起，四肢撑开作奔腾攀爬状，周饰卷草纹及灵芝纹。整器造型独特，琢刻纹饰繁复精湛，具有明代风格特征，乃玉佩精品。
