A SULAWESI BUGIS KRIS Indonesia, Sulawesi, early 20^th century. The Indonesian kris of the Bugis people with a wavy iron gandar (blade) cast with its protruding thorn-shaped ganja. Set with an elaborated metal Mendak and a nicely carved polished wood Patra (handle), depicting a zoomorphic figure. The fine root wood Warangka and the plain wood pendok (sheath) showcasing an appealing patina.

Condition: Good condition with minor traces of wear and age.
