此铜炉仿西周早期青铜簋而成，双耳呈兽首环，兽尾作耳垂。口部外侈，腹身以回字纹为地，刻对称玄鸟纹。高底足，底足一圈刻兽面。配以木雕座和铜炉相得益彰。簋是古代盛放煮熟饭器皿，也用作礼器，流行于商代至东周，因其形古朴雅致，明清时期多有仿作。
