此炉为蚰耳炉样式，敞口鼓腹，束颈，圈足，双耳做如意耳。炉身线条流畅柔美，整体宽而饱满，很好地保留了宣炉的器形特点。炉铜质佳，体量硕大，分量沉重坠手，叩之金声玉振，殊为难得。炉皮壳古旧，精光内敛。底部有“大明宣德年制”六字楷书款，款字结体苍秀，深得金石韵味。
