A Chinese watercolor and ink painting on paper of two scholars attributed to Chen Hongshou. The painting has an inscription and one seal, and it is mounted on a silk backing on board. Dimensions are: 71inches tall X 34 1/2 inches wide, 180.3 cm X 87.6 cm. The board measures 80 inches tall X 40 inches wide, 203.2 cm X 101.6 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in generally poor condition with widespread worm damage, as well as significant damage and repair. Staining and discoloration throughout, along with tears and creasing.
