A LEAF-SHAPED MUGHAL-STYLE HARDSTONE TRAYIndia, late 19th century. The body carved in the form of a leaf rising from an oval foot, the front incised and inset with metal, glass, and turquoise ornaments and beads. The translucent stone is of a pale green tone with cloudy inclusions and distinct white sparkle.Condition: Good condition with minor wear, some nibbling to edges, the stone with natural fissures.Provenance: The collection of The Zelnik Istvan Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above.
