墨床为绦环改制，呈四方形，玉质莹润细腻，双层透雕天鹅穿莲纹饰，天鹅展翅曲颈，身姿轻盈，莲池中荷叶舒展，或立或垂，花朵盛开，水草丰茂，极具生机。此类题材是以北方游牧民族渔猎生活为题材的玉雕作品，俗称“春水玉”，始于金元，旧配红木底座，为文房小品佳器。安徽省文物局藏有同时期春水玉饰，其形制、纹饰均与本拍品相类，可资参阅。
