A transparent pale yellowish brown with facet-cut and pear-shaped bottle. The tapering neck terminating in flanged mouth. The surface facet-cut with a honeycomb design and pattern of horizontal bands of continuous concave facets. 24 cm. height 568 grams.CONDITION Excellent condition. PROVENANCE Previously in a private Belgium family collection, kept in the Netherlands since 1960 up to now. REFERENCE Similar examples are in the Corning Museum, New York (see Whitehouse 2005, p.55, no.65) and a private collection in Tokyo, (illustrated in Fukai 1977, no. 30). Similar sold by Sotheby’s auction, Sale Number: L08220, 09 April 2008. Lot 71 .
