A Roman Oinochoe (pouring vessel) with a turned base, a globular body and a round shoulder with trefoil lipped mouse??(mouth?). The handle is attached to the body and is in the form of a twisted stem terminating a leaf with the gloube?? (globe?) at the high point. 20.5 cm. height CONDITION Slight restoration on the body. PROVENANCE Previously in European private collection acquired on the German art market in the 1980s.
