A GUAN-TYPE GLAZED PEAR-SHAPED VASE, HU, 19TH CENTURY China. Of pear shape, the neck applied with two scroll handles, covered overall in a creamy white glaze suffused with a dense network of gray and faint russet crackles.

Provenance: From a German private collection.
Condition: Some old wear and minor manufacturing flaws, including some bumps and stains to the glaze, one handle with a small loss.
