A KATHMANDU VALLEY BRONZE OF THE STRIDING GANESHA, 17TH-18TH CENTURY Nepal. Well cast in alidhasana on a lotus base, dressed in a dhoti, the primary left hand holding a bowl of sweets, his primary right holding prayer beads, the upper left with a goad, and the upper right with his broken tusk. The face detailed with wide-set almond-shaped eyes and an urna, the head surmounted by a foliate crown and flanked by floral earrings, all surrounded by a flaming mandorla with beaded lower rim.

Provenance: A Belgian private collection.
Condition: Very good condition with old wear and some casting flaws, few nicks and dents, light surface scratches, and remnants of gilt. The underside with remnants of soldering and malachite encrustations.

尼泊爾。象頭神以右展立姿立於蓮花座上，身著多提裝，左邊主拿著一碗糖果，右邊主手拿著念珠，左上角手中有一根刺，右上角手持他的斷牙。臉上眼睛呈杏仁狀，額中有白毫，頭戴葉冠，耳戴花卉耳環，身後火焰曼陀羅。

品相：狀況極好，有磨損和鑄造缺陷，少量刻痕和凹痕，表面有輕微劃痕和鎏金殘餘。底部有焊接殘留和綠色結殼。
