A RUBY RED OVERLAY SNOWFLAKE GLASS 'KUILONG' SNUFF BOTTLE China, 18^th century. Of rounded rectangular form, rising from an oval foot to a slightly tapering neck, finely carved through the translucent ruby-red layer to the bubble-suffused ground, to each side with an archaistic kui dragon, the green stopper in the shape of a stem with leaf.

Provenance: Collection particulière dans le département Eure-et-Loir, France.
Condition: Very good condition with minor nibbling and possibly some smoothing.
