See also a white jade figure of drunk Li Bai, in the National Palace Museum, Taipei, acc.no.:000238N.取瑪瑙一塊圓雕一長袍長髯紋飾醉臥於一酒缸側，缸前浮雕方斗，底部鋌鑽山石。人物取料咖啡色處，缸為白色。此造型取材自太白醉酒之典故。李白，字太白，並稱詩仙及酒仙。李白天寶年間入宮侍奉翰林，常有酒後不羈之事，如酒後命高力士脫靴，故太白醉酒有品行高傲不事權貴之意。丘逢甲曾有詩吟詠太白醉酒：「天寶年間萬事非，祿山在外內楊妃。先生沉醉寧無意，愁看胡塵人帝畿。」可見其中寓意。可比較一件北京故宮藏清代碧玉雕太白醉酒水丞，見《故宮博物院藏文物珍品大系》，上海，2009年，頁201，編號190。另見台北故宮藏一件白玉太白醉酒，館藏編號000238N。
